He handed her her bookbag, turned and walked back into the house and Kacy walked home. The warm day had turned colder and a chill ran up her battered body. She felt naked without her panties on and she started jogging to get home as quickly as she could. She prayed that her mother would not be in the living room and she could escape to her room and get dressed. She knew her mother would know what had happened and would be able to sense that she was without underwear.

She removed her clothes and threw them into the hamper. Wrapping a robe around her, she headed for the shower to clean this day away. After her shower, Kacy threw on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and flopped into bed. Although she been in Brad's bed for almost five hours, it had been less than restful.
